Since young I have been intrigued by the mystique and richness of the Ancient Orient. Though I do not really go into the field of the history of the ancient orient (since it is simply too complex for someone like me to comprehend most of the profound stuff), I always like to look at the different artworks, scuptures and relief introduced in the book.
I drew this figurine with inspiration from the book of 'The Art and Architecture of the Ancient Orient' at the age of 20. However I have forgotten which was the exact artwork I have drawn inspiration from.
With the second look of it now, I couldn't really relate its look to any of the common figurine I have seen in the Ancient Orient.
